To vote, your name must be on the electoral register.
To check if you are already registered go here  or visit your local Council office, Library or Post Office.
If you have voted before but moved address since the last election, you will also need to update your details.
Who is entitled to register?
- Any resident 18 years or over.
- All EU citizens
- Non-EU citizens can vote in the local elections
How long do I have to register?
It is possible for voters to change their address or make a late registration up to 15 days before polling day by submitting an application form to the supplementary register.
