Soon you will be asked to vote for somebody to represent you in Government  Only you, as a voter, can decide the future of your local community and country. Would you like to see safer neighbourhoods? Better planned facilities? Improved transport services?

To vote, your name must be on the electoral register.

To check if you are already registered go here B4 or visit  your local Council office, Library or Post Office.
If you have voted before but moved address since the last election, you will also need to update your details.

Who is entitled to register?

  • Any resident  18 years or over.
  • All EU citizens
  • Non-EU citizens can vote in the local elections

How long do I have to register?

It is possible for voters to change their address or make a late registration up to 15 days before polling day by submitting an application form to the supplementary register.

Please contact me here if you have any difficulty.
